Upcoming Events

  • Morning of Hope & Renewal, Sun., Mar. 26. Join us at 10 AM on this first Sunday of spring in Community Room 2 for "Hope for All Generations," a panel discussion with Joan (at 93, the oldest voice at SCC) and Bess, Kate, Penelope, Grant and Everett (as teens, some of the youngest voices at SCC). Worship with us at 11 AM in the sanctuary as Chris interviews Dr. Greg Sterling, Dean of Yale Divinity School, on "Hope for All The Earth." A scrumptious International Potluck follows at 12:30 PM in Community Room 2, celebrating the beautiful diversity of those experiencing and expressing hope through SCC events.   • Easter at Stamford Good Friday Vigil & Stations of the Cross, April 7, 6 PM - Deeply moving reflections on the death of Jesus through song, readings, prayer and silence. Also available on our grounds will be the stations of the cross that you can walk through in prayer and meditation. These stations lead you contemplatively through Jesus' journey to his cross and will be available Friday-Sunday, April 7-9.

  • Sonrise Service & Breakfast, April 9, 9 AM - Join us outside in our Carita's Garden (weather permitting, otherwise in the sanctuary) for a meaningful period of prayer, singing and Scripture tied to Jesus' resurrection. Followed by breakfast in our Community Room 2.

  • Easter Sunday Worship Service, April 9, 11 AM - Participate in our Easter Sunday worship with songs, readings, prayers and preaching by SCC members and staff.

  • Easter Egg Hunt, April 9, 12:30 PM - Bring the kids to our spacious lawn for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt. Children of all ages may participate.

  • The following recovery groups meet weekly at Stamford's building: Each Wednesday at 5 PM a Happy to Be Sober AA Group meets at the building; ​on Tuesdays/Fridays 6:30 PM a Back to Basics AA Group meets at the building. For information / to participate please click HERE. ​A third recovery group also meets but is private.  A Gamblers Anonymous Group also meets at the building during the week, see HERE for more information.
